Private Chapel of Rest
We have a smaller private chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one and say your final farewells. If you would like us to play specific music during your visit, simply let us know and we will arrange this for you.
Do I have to visit?

It is completely up to you and your family whether you wish to visit the chapel of rest. We are more than happy to offer support and advice when deciding whether to arrange a visit. Many people choose to visit their loved one to pay their respects and help with the grieving process. Others prefer not to, and there is no right or wrong decision.

What should you expect when visiting your loved one

Visiting someone in our chapel of rest can be a difficult and emotional experience, but you won’t have to go through it alone. You will be greeted by a member of our team and taken to our chapel side room. We will ensure you are comfortable and do not have any unanswered questions. When you feel ready, we will show you through to your loved one. If you would prefer our team to accompany you into the chapel, please ask.

There is no time restriction when visiting, and you are welcome to visit as many times as you wish.

If you would like a specific piece of music played whilst visiting, please ask and we will do our best to arrange this.
