I shall continue to recommend your services, and to hope that your family conducted business with it's deeply personal sympathetic touch remains independant of these huge "factory" funeral services which are becoming so common today.
Contact your local GP who will come to certify the death. If he/she is satisfied that the Coroner need not
be informed he/she will either give you the medical certificate of cause of death there and then or advise
you where you can collect it. you need the certificate to register the death.
When you have obtained the medical certificate of cause of death you need to make an appointment
at your local registry office of Births, Marriages and Deaths. If the death has been referred to the Coroner,
the procedure is slightly different. We will advise you concerning this.
